A Red Rock Canyon Abstract
The Red Rock Canyon is one of Waterton’s popular sites to visit. My son had a great time parkouring along the slick rock, jumping across the shallow stream that the creek becomes in the middle of summer. I photographed him mostly but the water, its ripples and the lines in this slab of rock, drew my attention for a minute.

Rippling on the water
From a small pond in Granville Island where a light rain was falling. The circular ripples created by the raindrops hitting the water distorted the reflections of trees above.

Swimming in the Okanagan
This duck was out for an early swim across the water from Kelowna. Me and the bird were the only creatures moving around near the shore at that time. The ospreys, eagles, grebes, loons and a muskrat stirred soon after. But, for a few minutes, this one duck was sole proprietor of the inlet.

Watery Reflections of South Carolina
Ran across some beautiful, warm evening light when I was in North Myrtle Beach a few days ago. I was walking on the boardwalk around Prices Swamp Run and the reflections in the rippling water were beautiful.
