Scribbling with moonlight
The moon was scribbling on the surface of one of the Vermilion Lakes in Banff National Park on the weekend.

Surprising! Made me think about photos I’ve seen of the natural scrawl on Scribbly Gums made by the larvae of the scribbly moth.

The “scribbling” reminds me of the stabilimentum of a very large “writing spider.” It’s beautiful.
