Mount Rundle reflected in Two Jack Lake
Two Jack Lake’s surface was pretty calm on a beautiful blue sky morning in the Banff National Park two weeks ago. That meant that Mount Rundle’s reflection was a bit skewed but I liked the look that suggested a fun house mirror.
I preferred the graphic look of black and white in this image. For comparison, I included the original color version.
Looks like it is about 7am.
The light and shadow on Mt. Rundle is changing around the time.

I think the colour one is fantastic. The contrast of the white bands with the colour of the rock and the blue of the sky, which you also get in the reflection, and the warm effect of the sunlight on the rock.

These are remarkable. I love both! The B&W has more drama, but what about the colours of the second….thank you for posting these inspiring images.
