A wintry landscape in West Bragg
The cold which the east has been laboring under reached us this weekend. Yesterday I was out photographing and this scene illustrated the frigid turn winter has now taken once more.

Evening at Moraine Lake on June 1, 2019. Shallow water and the last remnants of ice were a beautiful foreground. The Ten Peaks and wisps of cloud stretching over them completed the scene well.

Found this fallen blossom resting on greenery on the edge of a friend's garden in West Seattle. This was the first day after leaving Alberta's snow and sleet behind for a week. I enjoyed the vibrancy of spring on the west coast - one that is only now, more than a month later, coming to Bragg Creek!

A wave crashing through the keyhole on Olympic Peninsula's Second Beach sends seaspray skyward. The water silhouetted against the setting sun suggested the outline of a surfer or maybe a water spirit playing in this tunnel through the rocky cliffs. Photographed on April 27, 2019.
