Autumn sunset over Bragg Creek
This sunset was given life by the fantastically textured clouds over Bragg Creek. I was in Redwood Meadows just off the Cowboy Trail and watched the pinks and blues ripple through their hues as the clouds rolled by. The eastern ridges of Kananaskis held the clouds off of the horizon which allowed the colour in through much of the sunset.
Beautiful scene, beautiful country. I love travelling down the cowboy trail hope to go that way again sometime this year.looks like some weather is coming, snow perhaps?

Absolutely stunning photography, made even more evocative with the place names; the Cowboy Trail, Redwood Meadows, the ridges of the Kananaskis. I could just saddle up a horse and set off for there right now.

Great work Chris! I really love how you put the horizon low in the frame of the first one. The backlit trees and rolling hills really add to such a beautiful sunset.
