Wandering Vegas
I have never visited Las Vegas before. We’re in town for a conference that Bobbi is attending. Yesterday we toured a small part of the strip with the kids. A lot could be said, and has been, about this place. I don’t think it is my kind of place but it is fun to have a visit here. a visual treat of garish colors, outlandish fashion (personal and architectural) and very interesting characters.
I found a few scenes that appealed to me along the way.

MGM is decorated for the Chinese New Year. This is a back entrance where the glass has been covered in red film. Such a cool look.

Some of the work behind the facade that keeps Vegas rolling. Taken from the monorail.

I love the New York, New York hotel skyline that has been built on the strip. It is so stylized that it is like a commercialized cartoon. I wanted to find a way to frame it within the Las Vegas cityscape.

Hey buddy, particulary interesting pick of the red filmed glass entrance. Great set for a vampire movie! Really looking forward to your Myanmar picks. Hope you’re having a great time.
