Red-tailed chipmunks on the rocks
The chipmunks stay pretty quiet through the winter but they are getting active now. They spend a lot of time racing along the rocks that line the berm between my house and the Elbow river.
When I sit still for a minute, their curiosity takes over and they come close, poking their heads out from the rocks. Fun to make a couple of images while I was watching them.

Fantastic photos, as always. I have yet to capture a chipmunk on camera, despite several attempts – we don’t have a lot of them here and they always move so fast that it’s been tough getting a photo!
