Evening flight

I found a Swainson’s hawk south of Cochrane last week.  When the bird eventually pushed off from this tangle of branches I took a couple of photographs with the wings at full extension.

  4. Your patience is as admirable as your photos are beautiful. I’m learning something of the distance that can exist between “I found” and “eventually.”
Patience clearly is one of the invisible ingredients that elevates your photos from “nice” to something more.

  5. Your ability to capture the maginificence in the ordinary realm brings to others all over the world, things that we might miss – true beauty. Thank you for that.
