Happy New Year’s Eve!

We are two hours away from 2018 here in Alberta. I hope you are enjoying a great last night of 2017. Our Redwood Meadows community had a great fireworks display to closeout the year. This image was shot at the start of the show tonight.

That’s a very special way to celebrate! For me it was early to bed and early to rise! I guess old age creeping up on me! 🙂 I always do love your photos, and this one is no exception!

I love how the moon sneaked in there or was that just good framing??

Hi Helen – the moon looked incredible that night in the cold, crisp air so I moved to the west side of the field before the display to bring it into the photographs.
