Palouse – through the day

I really enjoyed photographing from sun up until deep into the night when I visited the Palouse in April.  The patterns in the fields, character in the sky and range of colors in both can blend wonderfully at anytime of the day.  These are a few of the ones that stood out from a couple of days on the backroads.

  8. I like the blurry photo. Is that shot from within a car?

    May 3, 2017 at 6:01 am

    • Yes. I was lucky to be a passenger with a friend driving at a couple points on my trip.

  11. This is also the original breeding place of the famous Appaloosa horses – the name comes from the river Palouse. Great shots again, BTW

Inspiring and peaceful, these are some of the most beautiful pictures of farm fields I’ve ever seen…where is Palouse? Thank you.

    • Hi PG – the Palouse is in Whitman County in Washington, USA. South of Spokane by about an hour.
