Christmas day around the house
Kezia and Kian had fun from early Christmas morning when Kezia told her grandparents she just missed Santa Claus. We made it out sledding in the backyard before lunch and then we had family visit in the afternoon.
On Boxing day we had thirty family members come over for dinner – kids and adults all seemed to have a great evening.
I hope everyone is enjoying a lot of family time!

You’ve captured the joie de vivre of Christmas day from a child’s point of view, that invigorating pop of snow play-blessed just to have snow!-noshing, particular interests, and such catchlights, colors, & clear blue sky!!!! I remember giving our oldest daughter a similar book at age 9 called, ‘Mercedes Benz,’ she loved them, had toy Mercedes, knew the models, favorite colors. She’s a mom of adult sons now, never drives, in fact doesn’t even own a car, haha. But bikes, now that’s a different story.
