The cold which the east has been laboring under reached southern Albertathis weekend. Yesterday I was out photographing and this scene illustrated the frigid turn winter has now taken once more.

It was a beautiful eclipse last night. I spent a few hours on the shore of one of the Vermilion Lakes in Banff National Park. I focused more on the landscape as it changed under the rusty light but did take a few pictures with a telephoto as well. The moon has a charm to it when the silver starts to slip back onto the surface.

A sunrise was muted by leaden skies above Calgary yesterday. The lighting in the Peace Bridge, that spans the Bow River an connects pedestrians on the north side to the downtown core, provided a bit of warmth on cold morning. -
